The conditions might be perfect for you to purchase your very own vacation home or condo. If you would like a winter getaway you should consider buying something in the Sarasota, Florida area. People come back to this area year after year to capture the sunsets, walk along the gorgeous beaches, enjoy a drink with friends on St. Armands Circle, eat a delicious meal at an outdoor cafe or play golf with friends. Why fight the cold, bitter winter weather up north when you could be basking in the Florida sun in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Lido Key or Longboat Key.

Many of the areas of Sarasota, Florida were developed by circus mogul John Ringling. Naturally, his footprints have been cemented in this beach town. It created a robust arts and cultural scene. In addition to this the beaches are immensely popular. Siesta Key is a stunning white sand beach made up of 99% quartz. It is very special and it wins awards every year as being one of the pretties beaches in the country.

Boating is a treat in Sarasota. There are several waterfront restaurants like O’Learys, Marina Jacks, Old Salty Dog, Mira Mar and The Dry Dock where you can pull up in your boat and enjoy a fabulous meal. If you don’t own a boat it is very easy to rent one.

Be careful, once you visit Sarasota then you may never want to leave. That is alright as it happens quite often. People visit here for vacation, fall in love and then either relocate here or buy a winter residence. A large percentage of the Sarasota Florida real estate are vacation or winter properties. Real estate is diverse where you can find homes from $50,000 to $20,000,000.

Sarasota offers a variety of great places to live. Many people choose to live as close to the beach as possible. There are pros and cons to this. You can go away from the beach and buy a magnificent newer home overlooking a golf course or lake about 20 minutes from the beach for the same amount of money it costs to get an older, smaller structure within a walk or bike ride to the water. There are condos and homes available on Siesta Key, Lido Key, Casey Key and Longboat Key. It all depends on your budget and desires.

If the beach does not excite you then you can always buy in land near or on a golf course. If golf is your lifestyle then take a look at the homes in Lakewood Ranch and other neighborhoods in east Sarasota like Laurel Oak Estates, University Park, Serenoa, River Club and Misty Creek.

Regardless of what lifestyle you want to live there are plenty of Sarasota real estate options. If you are only looking for a great vacation spot then you should definitely consider the Sarasota, Florida area.
