The city of Celebration has a reputation of being the most American town in the entire country. It’s true, that the city has a lot of charm, but it also comes at a high price. You can expect to one day afford entry into the community in the golden years of life, or if you have happened upon a small fortune.

The fun, peculiar, facts of Celebration include small things such as what residents are allowed to do. As an example, all residents must not park on the street. Their guests and visitors will be able to, but they are strictly forbidden to do so. The community is much more clean and less cluttered as a result. Other rules would include keeping lawns tidy, handling trash respectfully, and even given rules on how to sell your home if needed.

Downtown Celebration is a sight to behold. Even if you don’t live in Celebration, consider making the trip just to see the great architecture the city has. The buildings were designed by The Walt Disney Company, although the company doesn’t retain ownership of the city as of current. Regardless, the good deeds were done: every building is unique and even a simple restaurant looks like an architect’s dream. You don’t even need to be an architecture fan to appreciate downtown.

Hearing about all the good things of Celebration probably has you excited to own some land. The problem is that it will cost a lot of money. In fact, you might not even be able to afford the millions of dollars that many houses cost, even in your ripe age of retirement. You can get a frugal house at around $300,000. Of course frugal is used playfully: the homes are still marvelous and have unique architecture designed by the best of the best.

Travel and food networks are always visiting Celebration because of, well, their celebrations! The town has many scheduled events that pulls the community together. There are baking contests, fireworks and displays, and not to mention the extravagant Christmas decorations during Winter holidays. There is never a dull moment in Celebration, which is fueled by the ongoing fees that residents pay regularly.

At one point in time, Celebration bragged a perfect rate of crime: 0%. Recently there was a single documented case of a murder, but beyond that there has not been a serious criminal act in all of the city’s history. It’s thus a great city to raise a family in, even with the recent negative press. It’s still one of the safest communities in all of The United States.

Final Thoughts

Celebration is the best place to be if you want to live in a community with good folks who know how to live the good life. You won’t be able to gain entry until you make some money to pay the high fees, which unfortunately makes Celebration a dream for most.
