Cultural events are diverse and satisfy the interests of an equally diverse citizenship. A citizen can look forward to a satisfying, comfortable home life with good recreational potential whether one is there as a permanent resident or stationed there temporarily.
A vacation at the seashore is within driving distance. Also within day-trip type driving distances are Jasper and Banff National Parks, zoos and botanical gardens, prehistoric parks and archaeology sites where the dinosaurs roamed. Living in Calgary or Edmonton, or in apartments Calgary, makes for a comfortable and interesting home-life.
