Home Staging is the term used to describe the preparation of a home for sale, usually done before a show day to ensure that your home looks its best. Do not allow any clothes to be on the washline either. Clean sinks and faucets, and make sure the disposal is working. If you have a dustbin, make sure it is emptied.
If you have space, fresh flowers and fruit look nice. Use these items to draw attention to a particular area, like a breakfast nook or island.
There is nothing quite as welcoming in a home as a warm, comforting aroma. Making a batch of cookies will welcome guests and make the house smell good. You may also try baking several cinnamon sticks in the oven.
