If you need to commute, your options in Charlotte are plentiful. By the year 2030, there will be a huge light rail setup. The airport in Charlotte, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, serves over a million people every year. For long distance ground travel, you can take the Amtrak to any of the nearby cities.

There are a lot of good sports team in Charlotte, and this is a great reason to live there. Playing at home in Charlotte since 1995 helped the Carolina panthers go to the Super Bowl. I don’t know any bad things about Charlotte. In Charlotte, mortgage rates dropped to unheard of lows at the beginning of the year. Rates hit the bottom at 3.9% because of the bad economy and common layoffs.

If you are religious, you’ll be right at home in Charlotte. The Reverend Billy Graham grew up there in the “City of Churches.” There used to be many church goers, and even though their numbers are being shrunk by the huge influx of people to the city, many, many protestants are still present there. The boom in the last few years has grown the group associating with Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, and Greek Orthodoxy.

In the beginning, Charlotte was just a village, but after settlers moved in from Richmond, it became a boom town for the Eastern Seaboard. Sadly, the War of 1812 crippled the economy, and the Civil War ravaged the land. Because of this, many movie and tv producers decide to film here.
