Steel buildings have made some advancements over time and are much more detailed then say your old military quonset huts that looked like half a can buried in the ground. And just as some of those shows on tv say they can pimp your ride, well now there’s companies to pimp your steel building. Say you don’t to spend that much when purchasing your steel building, well we have a setup called the “simple box” metal building, no bells for whistles to higher the price.

Say you want to keep up with the competition on the block, or you want your certain building to stand out so it does not look like a typical steel building, then you’re going to want to view our possible upgrades and accessories.

I’m going to go over several upgrade options that are available and the terminology associated with them so you will know what to ask for when you’re ready to compare metal building prices.

Wainscoting is mostly associated with colonial style homes, where wood panels are used to line the lower portions of the interior walls. This same concept can be applied to metal buildings too, but on the outside of the building.

You may pick a color to start from the ground up usually going from three to four feet up then you may choose a different color. This technique is a great tool to say if you want to match your metal garage to your house by using say the same color as your house trim.

Another thing you might want to look into to add attractiveness to your structure are overhangs. Not to mention they are a great way to improve the performance and looks of a steel barn. A overhang is nothing more than a say, rook extension that shoots out over the ground to add additional storage space. If you do choose to add this overhang option it is usually a good idea to add soffits as well to close everything in and add to the attractiveness of your building.

Say you really want to stand out above all the other steel buildings on the block, adding a cupola is the perfect way to do just that. This Cupola is nothing more than a small mini building that will reside on the peak of your own structure. You may also add a weather vane for that extra distinctive touch.

Theses few things that we have gone over are just a few upgrades that are available, in which to add to your property. So don’t forget when you are setting out your budget to not forget about a little extra to make your steel building stand out above the rest.
