If we are to consider the facts and figures, the Apple Iphone has already made approximately 12.992 million sales of its unit world wide since its release of the iPhone 3GS.

Also, Apple reported that they have now sold over 1.7 million iPhone 4 units on only a matter of three days after its launch on June 24th. With these numbers, we can almost bet our money that the iPhone will be here to stay for the coming 5 years to come, according to analysts.

This is not considering another fact that even though there have been some negative reports about the iPhone, still there are plenty of consumers wanting to use it compared to other brands.

Particularly the new iPhone 4, we have heard of reports of its poor connection and reception problems that were actually acknowledged by Apple. They apologized and even offered a free update on the software that is supposed to correct the low signal in the signal bar of the phone.

Apple also said that if any of their clients were dissatisfied with their iPhone 4, they can still return it and get a full refund providing that they return it with in 30 days upon purchase and without damage.

Yet despite these issues which are not really that big, customers in US, Canada and UK still flood the stores to avail themselves a new iPhone. And according to some surveys done, almost 83% of consumers in these countries would still purchase and use the Apple brand over other smart phone models in the market and would even be willing to spend for a comprehensive iPhone insurance with it.

But we see a slightly different story in Japan where dealers of the iPhone seem to be struggling. Up to now, it seem not to be gaining popularity with the Japanese tech community who are more interested in picture and video taking rather than fancy apps.

Some consumer analysts actually predict that it will still take quite some time to actually tap at least half of the Japanese market and for them to warm up to foreign brands that they usually do not patronize.

But Apple need not worry since we see a very stable trend in other countries in US and Europe. The demand for iPhone apps and accessories are still a consistent high ranking term in Google searches.

The continual demand for iPhone insurance and production of other accessories sure does prove that the iPhone is here to stay until the next generation. There will be another version of the iPhone, maybe an iPhone 5 or iPhone 6i but the basic look and feel of the original will never be taken out of Apple’s design.
